“Since Google only offers 5 years of support, and as previously noted support ends in 2024 (80% of max support from Google left), then why is this item not marked down 20% to compensate for 1/5 less update support time? Should this not be listed at $215?”

When auto update for the Chrome OS expired, the Chromebook will still run and work properly since the OS is running from the Cloud. Security update is not a concern since the Cloud Server gets their security updates periodically. For promotions or mark down for the product, please check with BestBuy for details.
