There is no drive bay for an optical or CD drive. An external USB CD drive can be used instead.

I would advise you get an external drive. They are cheap and mine is a bit slow, but it plugs into usb and burns dvd's. It's handy because all my desktops don't have internal CD/DVD drives that work either. Plays commercial DVD's just fine too.
