It doesn't come with a cd/dvd player installed. Instead it has a SD card slot on the right hand side of the laptop. However, if if you need a CD/DVD drive, you will have to get one from online or at your local store. They can be plugged into the USB port and used that way (external USB CD/DVD writable drives) They cost anywhere from $15-$50. The CD/DVD will be obsolete in a few years, and will be replaced by the SD card slots in the newer computers.
