A:Answer I bought this laptop for my son who's a Minecraft fanatic. He's had no issues playing Minecraft on different servers and installing mods. Him, his sister, and her boyfriend put their laptops on the dining room table, join in a game on the same server, and have a Minecraft night with no problems. I won't say I'm familiar with all the flavors of Minecraft, but your kid should have no problem using this laptop. It's not a high end, super speed, super expensive laptop, but it gets the job done.
