What kind of noise are you talking about? It is normal to hear the fan, but it is VERY quiet on mine. You may have a cd in the drive that is spinning, which makes a lot of noise. If so, take it out. If it is making a noise constantly and it is not the CD/DVD drive, you may want to bring it in to the store and have them look at it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this computer and it does make noise a lot of the time but definitely not constantly. This computer stays pretty cool also. I don't know if the noise might be accompanied by more heat from it or not. I hope this helped.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I hear a slight click noise when it's accessing the hard drive but I'm not worried about it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are 2 moving parts in this laptop, and this will be true of other brands and models also. If it's the CPU fan, it might be the laptop is positioned somewhere where the air vent might be blocked and it's running the fan constantly to keep cool. It could also be the hard drive making a small noise, and that's normal since the discs inside the drive are always spinning. Going to a solid state drive would make it quieter though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is normal for the unit to make a noise if the hardrive is spinning or being accessed. The noise can also be coming from the internal fan.
