Please try again later.If you're using the system moderately, such as reading a book or writing a document with occasional WIFI or DVD drive usage, I have been able to get close to 6 hours out of this battery. If you're using it to watch a DVD movie, or streaming video on WIFI, playing a game, etc, you're going to get closer to about 2 and a half to 3 hours of battery. Battery life on this unit, as with other units will vary depending on usage and how you have your power management settings set. Also swapping out the HD to a SSD also gives you more battery life to play with.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In my usual usage (email, web surfing, document editing) the battery life is 4+ hours. But, when watching videos, it is much less, somewhere between 2 and 3 hours. I can watch one full-length movie, but not two.
