• No they have another one that is for about 400 but I looked at it and someone complained that ASUS warranty didn't cover the touch screen and it would be 250 to fix

• The screen is not touchscreen. You can adjust the brightness by holding the "fn" key which is to the right of the "ctrl" key at the bottom left of the keyboard and then pressing the "f6" key until the brightness is the whole way up, might help.
