On a budget so I've been working with a dinosaur dell laptop that I accidentally cracked the screen (still works even though part of the screen is not visible) so my husband ran to get this Asus...but why is my connection so slow on it when my WiFi signal shows strong. Even the old old laptop connects much faster.... why could this be?”

Please try to do a hardware reset to resolve the stability issue and install the most current system update. Also, please verify that third-party applications being installed have the most current update and are fully-Android compliant to avoid conflict that may cause stability problem. If you are accessing web applications, please verify if the tablet is within range to an established wireless router and internet service is working properly. Usually, reconfiguring the wireless setup will re-established internet connection. If the problem persists, the WLAN driver or network services was corrupted, resetting the system to factory settings should resolve internet connection issue.
