If you are running a minor game on it (Healthstone) for a long period of time, sure. General computing, it usually stays pretty cool to the touch.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Our does not get overly hot. All laptops do get hot when charging or you are holding in a couch, blanket or something like that. Just let air get under it and it should be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The laptop still warms up a bit with use, but the vents are on the sides, rather than the bottom, so keeping them clear is much easier. In my experience, the computer has not gotten HOT, just warm, and certainly not so warm as to affect the performance of the machine or cause automatic shut off, as I have had with previous computers.
