• A:Answer It connects using a usb 3.0 hub and thats all. As long as your destop has a usb 3 hub or supper speed usb port, it should work just fine. But why do you want to connect a desktop to a portable monitor. This combination doesnt make sense to me.

• A:Answer I do not think so. It needs an OS to run. It also needs a device that can transmit power through the cable. It would be best to look for an other portable monitor that comes with an external power cable. I know that asus makes some.

• A:Answer Will the MB169B+ monitor work with a USB-C Hub? My new laptop only has two USB-C ports. One must be used for power. Thus, it is necessary to use a USB-C Hub/port adapter to use additional devices. My monitor works when plugged directly into my laptop (Dell XPS-13). But it does not work when plugged into the USB-C port on the Hub/Port Adapter. What do I need to do to get it to work?
