- Answer I love the clearance/open box section for laptops. I call it their orphanage, and look for laptops to adopt. Since I'm a computer professional, and can do my own support, I'm not really worried about buying from there. I bought three gaming laptops and two 11.6" laptops from here over the years, and the price can't be beat. Just expect non-crucial things to be missing (manuals, DVDs, maybe a cable), but there will be enough to get the machine working...just pay attention to what is included and inspect it before you buy it.

- Answer This model of the g752 has a dvd recordable drive. You could upgrade it with a blu Ray drive, if you know how. It's just a SATA optical drive.

- Answer Being that I am unfamiliar with the specific Flight Simulator you mention, I can't make any promises, but I will say that I have yet to find a program that I cannot run on my Asus X752 laptop. Just be sure to keep Windows 10 updated. This is where I made my initial mistake.

- Answer I'm sorry to give you a "I think" instead of a concrete answer, but I think the answer is yes. It is not user-replaceable, but either the manufacturer or Geek Squad should be able to handle the replacement. I remember reading that the battery packs are rectangular instead of cells to maximize the space in the laptop so I think they would be specialized replacements.

- Answer If you are streaming games played on the laptop, i would suggest just using OBS(Open Broadcast Software) which is free to download, if you are streaming from an Xbox One or PS4, they both have live streaming software built into them. The only real reason I can see you needing an Elgato is if you are using a Xbox 360 or a PS3. And this laptop should be able to run a live stream just fine, but it would also depend on how strong your internet connection is to avoid and lag issues.

- Answer No the screen on this Ausus ROC laptop is not made by LG. Asus products are engineered and designed in Taiwan and so are HTC phones and both have world recognition as incredible producers of computing and mobile devices. LG is Korean also a very good product, but Asus and LG are very much competitors with each other.

- Answer Laptop has 1 normal 2.5" drive slot. Clone the original to your SSD and put it in :) You also have two m.2 SSD drive slots.

- Answer I can transcode, run simulations, run games and do video editing on this without much to worry about. ROG laptops always have great cooling and this one is no exception. Paired with the SSD's you could make this your primary laptop. I do a bit of programming on this but I do that with a seperate keyboard (never had a laptop with a good keyboard for typing very fast). For the average to moderate user, you are set for a few years here. The only exceptions that comes to mind? 1. Oculus Rift. Don't look at laptops for that right now. 2. Weight. This thing is pretty heavy. 3. If you're in extreme situations you need more durability and this isn't something I'd toss around.
