The RAM is 1x8 DDR3 and the HDD is a 1 TB 7200 RPM. There's also an expansion bay to add another HDD. I upgraded mine to 32 GB of RAM, and I couldn't be happier with it.

Please try again later.it has 1 8 gig ram stick in it, and 1 1tb hdd 5400 rpm hard drive. the 8 gig stick is in the harder spot to get to so it is easy to add 2 8 gig sticks and get 24 gigs easy. as 2 of the slots are underneath. the other 2 slots (one take already) are under the keyboard.

D: it does have two extra slots built in along with two ports for HDDs, although one is taken by the HDD that comes with the computer. All four of these slots are under an easy access hatch.
