• No sir, I learned that the battery is not removable like in previous models. The only reason I would see to remove the battery is to try and fix it. or open the case up and make hardware changes. The asus gaming computers don't have great battery performance due to the higher specs of this model.

• It absolutely is. However, you're going to need to unscrew the battery and install a new battery that's dedicated for the laptop. Its not your standard laptop battery that you can get at any store. You'll have to order one through republic of gamers website.
