Click on the icon that is next to the time and date that is the lower right of the screen. Next a settings box will pop open. Now click on the System icon. You should now be on Display and to the right you should see Customize your display at the top. Now scroll down until you see Multiple displays, right under them you will see a drop down menu. It shows "Duplicate these displays" click on that and click on "Extend these displays". Now click on Apply, then click and hold the top of the app you want to move. Just move your mouse to the right and you have your duel display.

That way you use the one HDMI port and plug into the first monitor, then go from the first monitor directly to the second one. This is an alternative option when having only one HDMI port available.
