“DVD DRIVE Is this laptop able to read general gaming CDs/CD R/CD RW/ DVD R/DVD RW? The optical drive specification just says DVD. I would hope it would be able to read all formats. Is this the case? Thank you.”

• you can use pc games, cd and dvd's. just like any laptop drive would.

• This unit does not burn discs. This is just a reader. It will read all formats but you will not be able to write to any optical media with this.
