• No, it doesn't play Bluray. My last laptop did but I wasn't concerned this time. Since streaming is the most popular and convenient way of watching film and tv now, ASUS and most other manufacturers are not finding a huge request for them anymore. Fine with me--keeps the weight of the computer down and the cost!
