The RAM memory is not expandable. Maximum RAM it can support is 12GB.

Yes, you can upgrade, but they don't make it easy. You have to remove the whole bottom of the case, 10 screws just to get in.

Yes, current config comes with 8GB and 4GB stick. you can replace the 4GB stick with an 8GB stick as it can support upto 16 GB. Also, it comes with DDR3 but the skylake chipset can support DDR4 I believe.
