“Does this laptop have a bay for a second hard drive?”

• No ASUS laptop does not have a bay. You would have to purchase an external hard drive that plugs into the side of your laptop. I plan to buy one soon so most of what I currently store on my laptop will be transferred to the external hard drive. Each time you power down your laptop the external hard drive gets unplugged.

• No, it doesn't have second hard drive bay. This model unit only comes with 1TB 5400RPM. Please be advised that it might void the warranty if anything gets damaged on your unit.

• No. It does not. Any space it would have for a second drive is occupied by the cd/dvd drive.

• you can purchase external HDD (1 TB or higher)drive actually at best buy and they will show you how to.
