If you are familiar with computers already then I'm sorry ahead of time........In all technicality the Hard Drive can always be replaced by an SSD because that is what the SSD is made for. To have a higher and faster performance than a HD. The only real down side to a SSD is that it has a small amount of memory compared to the HD. The only thing that I do not have information on is the size in which the SSD would have to be and if the SSD will fit where the HD in this model is. Besides all the physical possible complications the HD can be replaced with the SSD.
