I brought my Asus from the U.S to Israel (220V), and it works just fine- most laptop's power packs today have the voltage on it that says from 110V-240V you just need the right adaptor to plug it into the wall jack.

Although this laptop is sturdy, you will need to make sure that you have a good voltage and surge protection device. Of course the step down voltage regulator should be always in good working order. Call Asus their tech will make sure you are steered in the right direction to be for sure..
