• If you hit the fn+f4 key, that should turn on the key back lighting. Hitting fn+f3, will turn it down, then off. Hitting either combo will go through the 4 steps - off, low, middle, high. Hope that works for you!

• If you are working in full light you need to turn off the keyboard backlight - fn key and then f3 (keyboard with a light/sun over it). When it's dark out, make sure to turn the backlight back on - fn key and f4. I had the same problem. Good luck.

• Yes I have the same problem seeing the keyboard. Not sure how to fix this just yet as I have only had my ASUS for about a month.
