“Can you inform me if this item will meet my needs? I'm a dummy. I have an HP s5000 desktop in the basement mancave (currently hardwired to DSL). Upstairs, my wife has a Motorola SBG900 Wireless surfboard broadband cable modem/router that she uses to access internet with her Lenovo laptop (yes, we are currently a "two internet" family). I would like to drop my otherwise trusty ol' DSL and get wireless connectivity with my s5000 so I can run off her wonderous broadband wireless network. Questions: is this Asus what I need to do the job? If so, is it easily installable in my HP slimline AND compatable in connectivity with the particular Motorola she has upstairs? We have a relatively small house, so I wouldn't think there would be any range issues. Thanks much!”
