Sound? I've never had PC, laptop or monitor w/ great sound in 20 years. You need real speakers. As far as this notebook goes, it's great. Once you remove the win 10 telemetry, lock screen & login screen it boots in about 15 sec. This notebook is plenty fast & loads programs very quick. I'm very happy w/ it. The battery life is the best of any laptop I've owned out of many. I'm getting 8-10 hrs of heavy use & it runs very cool w/ hardly any fan noise. The size is perfect for me as I use it w/ a 24" monitor for my programming. Be aware that in the demo it shows a removable panel showing a hard drive & ram access. Not so, only a small panel w/ the ram & M.2 ssd. So I'm sitting on 2 Samsung ssd's I cant use @ $180.00 each!!!! Other wise I recommend this notebook.
