I would really like to know too. This model is supposed to have an m2 ssd slot , an 8 gb solderied to the board and a free ram slot for upgrade. At least thats what i see from previous models like G501JW-DS71, however there is almost no info about G501JW-BHI7N12. It would be awesome if an asus representative can clarify this.

I upgraded mine today from 8GB of RAM to 12GB of RAM. I was mistaken and it only has 4GB soldered onto the MOBO. SO its only able to be upgraded to 12GB of RAM. Yes it does have an M2 slot for an SSD.
