You're going to want to run XMP profiles for the ram in the BIOS. XMP profiles should be built into the ram sticks and enabling them is fairly straight forward in the BIOS.

Please try again later.So, i just swapped out the original sticks for the new corsair ones and did as instructed and enabled the x.m.p in the bios and everything went smoothly. I decided not to keep the original sticks in it because the primary timings were like 22-22-22-58 compared to my 16-#-#-# ones the corsair i put in ate. Not sure what to do if i wanted to keep the original asus/micron ram in the pc with my 2x16gb corsair sticks, or how ram with different primary timings work?
