QuestionI’m experiencing some heating issues. When I’m playing a game for example American truck sim, I drop to 14fps and go back up to 120 FPS cap. I turned on fan overboost and it kinda worked but give lower fps like 75 FPS. I’m worried what’s going to happen!!

- Answer You can try a load of things to help you out. Placing it on a flat surface to prevent it from getting suffocated. Disabling V Sync in nvidia control panel if using two monitors as well as making it your main display Plugging in the computer setting it into max performance mode in battery settings However, this computer runs hot though. I usually get 90-95 degrees C when playing games.

- Answer If the battery is over 95% it will not register to prevent over cooking the ac adapter and the internal battery.

QuestionI downloaded the Aura Core app to customize my keyboard, but now I want the DEFAULT rainbow settings. Setting it to rainbow on the aura core app is not the same as the DEFAULT rainbow pattern the computer has when you buy it. Does anyone know how to fix??

- Answer I had the same problem, it says on the site it will be on the receipt, on the receipt it has instructions for using a code you haven't been given. I called Bestbuy customer support and they were able to look up the purchase and email me the code while on the call. So far I've had no luck applying the code on the PC version of Fortnite. For the Trend Micro they promised a gift card and for the call of duty game (promotion app crashed) they could do nothing about. Neither could Asus or Activision. Basically all 3 items promised with this laptop were a lie.

QuestionI'm thinking of replacing the one 16 GB Ram stick made my SK Hynix w/ two corsair vengeance 16 GB sticks. (VR Capable) Original - 2666 New Set - 3200 Megahertz Will the swap work and the laptop run successfully since I'm doing a total swap?

- Answer It should work as long as the timings match up perfectly, I am not sure that you will be able to change these settings with the limited bios, of course it could automatically adjust to whatever you put in there as well. Let us know how it goes if you attempt it!
