it has 2 x 5ghz and 1 x 2.4ghz radios

You will get a 2.4, and 2 separate 5 ghz channels.

Its a tri-band router. One 2.4gz frequency and two 5gz frequencies are broadcasted. When connecting to the router you will see each frequency independent of eachother. To sum it up, you get both!

It has multiple channels for 2.4 and 5, as well as optional guest channel. It is awesome. Especially if you can find it on sale.
