This computer is being used for gaming and was a warranty replacement for my Grandson. At the time I purchased this I was comparing to Asus RTX 2060 vs Max Q but didn't want to exceed a budget for it's purpose. There was a $400. difference in base price and I couldn't justify. The agent mentioned that if my grandson was crunching numbers and doing more graphics then we would consider another but for gaming this had everything he needed. I am a retired graphic designer and used Solidworks along with other 3d programs so carefully review the the software requirements. The Asus is a lighter weight laptop compared to HP/others and the pricing might provide more options. Do your homework with respect to software compatibility. Good luck! It's always a process and trade-off with graphic regeneration speed, memory and cost.
