QuestionSo I can understand that this laptop can handle up to 32-48 gb ram. However is there a limit of how much storage it can take?(ranging from 1TB up to 4-5 TB) also does it need to be updated on the wificard?

- Answer Most common upgrade is to add another 16G ram, making a total 32GB dual channel. typically ppl swap out the M.2 SSD with a 1TB or 2TB, very likely can go higher but not sure. Wifi card is recommended to swap out with a cheap Intel one (search reddit), the MediaTek that comes with the machine is... finnicky and I've seen it myself.

- Answer No I don’t think you can do that. It only has hdmi output, not input. In fact only a handful of laptops can do hdmi input.

- Answer I upgraded to a Samsung 990 pro 2 Tb was cheaper and better than the next best WD 850x 2Tb also used G Skills 32 gig ddr5 4800 to match the internal ram speed . I have a 2023 check ur computer ram speed and match it up so won't have issues. It can be changed in the bios to match but you can also have some complications with that so why even bother. Just match it up and smooth sailing. I have the AMD 9 processor the GSkills works great with that chip

- Answer All the models have 16GB of DDR5 4800mhz ram soldered on the motherboard, with an available unpopulated Sodimm slot for extra ram. I think the 8GB is referencing the VRAM or might just be a typo, but all these G14 models have 16GB ram out of the box, with the option to add more.
