“Is the extra M.2 slot a Gen3 or Gen4 slot? I'm just curious as I'm trying to get the fastest M.2 Drive for that slot. Buying a Gen4 drive for a Gen3 slot would be a waste of money where I can put that towards maxing out the RAM. And help would be great!”

The M.2 slots are Gen4 and backward compatible with Gen3 M.2 SSD.
