• This router will work with any other ASUS router which is also AiMesh compatible. The oldest router in the Asus line which supports Aimesh is the AC66U B1. I picked up a used AC68U (also compatible) from EBay for $40, flashed its firmware to the latest version, configured it as a mesh satellite from my gateway Asus router, and I then had a functioning and reliable Wi-Fi mesh.
