- Answer Wifi signals don't do well without direct line of sight so the more walls you have between your device and the router the more your signal & speed will suffer. Your best bet is to use some hard wired access nodes if possible.

- Answer Yes it does. I'm getting 1200 mbps up & down at the router right now on AT&T's 1gb plan. That's about 25-50 less than when tested at the modem itself.
