Questioncan i add second ssd WD - BLACK SN770 2TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 4 x4 (or samsung evo plus 2tb) so it would end up with stock 512gb ssd +2tb new SSD. would it have any issues on system ?

QuestionIs there any way to connect a 360hz monitor to this? I have one of these and it works flawlessly but for me 144 isn't enough. I know most say 144 to 360 isn't much but I want to feel those extra frames, especially in games like Valorant.

- Answer You can get up to 240Hz via the Thunderbolt 4 or HDMI port at 1080p resolution. 360Hz would require at least an HDMI 2.1 port, which this laptop does not have.

QuestionCan I add Samsung 980 M2 PCIe NVMe 3.0 SSD into the expandable slot? Will it cause any heating issues.

- Answer The only laptop can cause overheating issue is HP brand. It's known for overheating from most models they designed for except for business level laptops used at companies. This ASUS laptop does not overheat due to adding another SSD. If you add another 5400 RPM standard hard drive, then it might overheat due to the nature of the hard drive instead of the laptop. Samsung 980 M2 SSD is the top brand model in the market plus that the laptop has a powerful RTX 3070 graphics card and cooling system, so it should never overheat unless you play heavy graphics games. That overheating issue will happen to any laptop when you play heavy graphics games. Once the game is over, the laptop will cool down fast.

- Answer If Auto Cad is anything graphics-intensive, I would say definitely yes. I would thin that watching movies would be fine as well given that the fans don't get too loud unless the machine is really put upon.

- Answer You cannot upgrade the battery, however you can have a 100w Type C battery pack to charge the battery. I have an 18 watt 20,000Mwh battery bank that I can charge this laptop up with via type C. A bit of advice, however, make sure the laptop is off while topping the battery off.

QuestionHi, a while back I had gotten this product and there are a few problems I have been having that I wondered about. Should it worry me that there is a loud buzzing coming from the device that often gets louder and louder when a game runs?

- Answer It is normal just like any other brand with the same hardware configuration, for the fan to spin at full-throttle and generates a buzzing sound or noise louder than normal while the laptop is under heavy load while gaming. If this concerns you, we recommend to take it to the nearest BestBuy location to have it checked.

QuestionGot my 1 month ago. Now the keyboard backlight don't turn on. It just turn on in suspension mode. When get back to Windows keyboard backlight keeps off. Anyone can help? Already restore bios, full windows instalation and nothing.

- Answer Dont work my friend. When i do that FN + AURA, appears on screen static etc but keyboard don't light up =( Just light up when system is in suspension.

QuestionI need a way to charge/plug the laptop in in my car. Is it possible to charge with one of the usb-c ports? Can I get a cigarette lighter to regular charger for this laptop? I spend a lot of time idle in my vehicle and would like something to pass the time

- Answer USB-C ports are designed to carry power, as long as it’s using the built in GPU it shouldn’t need extra juice. As for a lighter adapter I’m not sure, my car has usb-c ports so that’s all I can speak to.

- Answer Most of the time this is not feasible with laptops. You would be better off getting a 4k or waiting for Asus to maybe make a 4k laptop that's better or equal to this

- Answer No, this is not an older model. This is a different model variation, there are three model variations for the ASUS TUF Dash F15 (2022), one with a 1080p @144Hz display, another with a 1400p @165Hz and the final model variation with a 1080p @300Hz display. All displays are 15.6" in size, anti-glare, IPS, adaptive-sync, have a MUX switch + optimus.

- Answer Yes, there is a different model variation with a 2560 x 1440 resoluition, and a refresh rate of165Hz. You can search for that model on Best Buy however if you're unable to find it here you can check with other major retailers.

- Answer Why would you bother with raid zero? You're much better off just replacing both drives and running them normally. With SSD speeds what they are you are not going to see any discernible speed difference... When your load times are in the millisecond range it's not going to help to cut that in half, especially if both M2 ports share the same PCI Express channels. Then the total available bandwidth would be the same for one as it is for both so running them striped has no benefit other than increased likelihood you will lose everything if one drive dies. The only advantage is that you can then get it to pretend it's a two terabyte drive. And honestly the better thing to do would be for aces to get with the decade and support drives larger than one terabyte since you can get an 8 TB drive for $1,100 that is absolutely top speed.
