Generally speaking, these USB adaptors don't care who the motherboard maker is, but you do need to make sure of compatibility of the OS chipset. I got this one because the first one I bought would only run on a 64 bit OS (that was in the very fine-print specs) which crashed my 32 bit system when I installed it.
