- Answer A chiclet keyboard comes with elevated keys that have some space between them that enables the keys to blend into the surrounding area. Usually, keys are rectangular in shape with rounded edges. It doesn't come with a trial version of MS Office, this can be downloaded from the Microsoft website.

- Answer NO. This keyboard is NOT back-lit. In fact, the lack of contrast on the keyboard has been criticized on this model. It has dark gray lettering on a light gray key, so there is not much contrast. To offset that "problem," I bought a very traditional, external KB of black keys with white lettering. I don't like typing on a laptop KB anyway. Randy
