NO. This keyboard is NOT back-lit. In fact, the lack of contrast on the keyboard has been criticized on this model. It has dark gray lettering on a light gray key, so there is not much contrast. To offset that "problem," I bought a very traditional, external KB of black keys with white lettering. I don't like typing on a laptop KB anyway. Randy
