No. It would be better to spend a bit more and get a laptop with more RAM , and a faster, larger SSD drive. For about $250 more, for example (also at Best Buy) the Acer Swift 3 gives you a faster I5 processor, twice the RAM and twice the SSD. And the Acer's SSD should be faster as well. Weight, screen and battery life should be similar.

You can successfully install software on this device that is compatible with Windows 10.
