A:Answer As you probably already know, high end processors need power to operate. I am not aware of a i7 processor laptop running at more than half capacity that will meet your desired goal. If I process photos in Photoshop and ACDSee my Asus will run 3 to 4 hours.
If you really need high performance and battery life of 5 to 10 hours, I suggest you consider supplementing the internal battery with an external, when needed. That is what I do when I'm working in the field with no other charging source.
