This Ultrabook would be great for a college student. It's very thin, lightweight, has long battery life, crisp screen, and a quick processor to boot. Streams 1080p video like a champ. I'm not sure if there is a better laptop at this price point that offers the same build quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As a senior student, and a prior serviceman, I can tell you that this computer would travel well being light and smallish. For school purposes, it is perfect for anything you want to do. I'm majoring in Management Information Systems with a minor in Computer Science. This computer is perfect for me to do programming with and perfect for all the other classes I'm taking. I highly recommend this laptop for all college students!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not only has this laptop performed flawlessly, but it is so light and the they weren't kidding about the long battery life. I normally get 8.5 to 10 hours depending on the work/play load. You may want a portable hard drive to increase memory, but the cost is really negligible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it should be fine for a college student, and cannot think of any reason why it wouldn't be.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a great laptop, but if you are going to be carrying it everywhere, keep in mind the size. it can get heavy when you lug it around - the tote, computer, cords and other stuff adds up. Also, look at the space you will need to set it up. If none of this matters - I recommend this one. They make one in a 15" if you need something a little smaller.
