• I have not run this on battery much, but it has an advertised life of >10hrs. It does not heat up at all

• I’ve had this laptop for about two months now and it hardly ever heats up beyond what I consider to be normal operating warmth. As far as battery life I would say I get 5 hours of use per charge, this is while running a mix of internet and streaming videos/music
