• A:Answer This laptop model was not designed for gaming. It is normal, just like any other laptop brand with the same hardware configuration, for the fan to spin at full-throttle and generates noise louder than normal while the laptop is under heavy load like gaming. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle and noise will be louder than normal. It does decreases or normalizes utilization goes down

Q: QuestionWill this laptop get hot while just watching YouTube/browsing social media sitting in my lap? I know a lot of people say this gets hot during gaming but that's not a concern for me. This laptop checks all my boxes but all the comments on heat concerns me.

• A:Answer I use it for web research, writing, streaming music/video and dozens of tabs at any moment and it barely gets warm. This isn't a gaming laptop by any stretch of the imagination, it's super thin and the thermal solution just isn't enough to keep this cool with gaming.

• A:Answer Yes you can, the integrated 880M graphics has similar performance to a desktop GTX 1650 graphics card, games would be playable on low settings. You'd be able to play at higher settings by using an external GPU enclosure that utilizes the USB 4 ports. When gaming I suggest using a laptop stand that has a fan for higher sustained performance.

Q: QuestionWhere is the HX 370 with 32GB model? Is Asus being ridiculous again and only releasing the low spec'd models in the US and the higher spec'd models everywhere else? What is wrong with all these manufacturers and low memory models? BB 16GB is not high!

• A:Answer Apparently we are supposed to thank the Asus memory rationers for giving us 24 GB on this model which is the 365 APU with 4 Zen 5 cores plus 6 Zen 5c cores (thus about 5% slower than HX 370 APU model that has 2 more Zen 5c cores). BTW after counting 15% uplift in instructions per clock due to Zen 5 architecture, Zen 5c cores are maybe only 5-10% slower than Zen 4 cores, thus the 10-core 365 is net more (all-core) powerful than last gen’s Zen-4 8-core laptop CPUs. This is napkin math on very limited performance data at this point.
