A:AnswerEach phone has a volume control. Both wife and I have hearing aids so we may not be a good choice for info. I am pleased with the phones and I have Tinnitus but wife is a little unhappy that the sound is not loud enough for her on speakers. She has had hearing problems since her childhood doctor chose to puncture her eardrums when she had infections as a child. I think the phones are fine and all 4 seem to be the same to me. Hope this helps. Ken
A:AnswerNo registration needed for bases & yes you can turn off the features good luck. Editing unwanted phone numbers i believe this can be done. I have not tried using that feature
A:AnswerI have voicemail, too. To deactivate the recorder, on the base unit, there is a button ANS ON/OFF. Tap it until it says "calls will not be answered". The phone will work and recordings go to subscription voicemail. I hope this helps.
A:AnswerAll batteries needed are provided with the phones. They recharge automatically when placed back in the base. No need to buy anything battery related.
A:AnswerWe purchased this phone because none of our phone jacks worked. The main phone is connected to our WiFi modem and the extensions are used throughout the house. The extensions phones simply plug into the wall. We get exceptional service on our phones. So the answer to your question is yes.
Of course if your internet service goes out, so does the phone service.
