You can call from an extension.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has an intercom button to call from handset to handset. Not sure if that is what you are referring to as an extension.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. There is a "Push to Talk" button on the right hand side. When you push it, it asks (on screen) which handset you want to connect to. You can also name the handsets, (living room, bedroom, Billy, Joe..etc) and that may show up (I haven't tried that yet).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can intercom to a single handset or all, you can even call an extension on kind of an announce mode where the speakerphone can be activated without the extension being picked up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The base station handsets are all numbered. If you know where each handset is located you can call any one you want from any of the handsets or the base station. It's the equivalent of having an intercom system in your home. The instruction manual covers every possible question you might have about the system and is very easy to understand. This is something that is rare in user's manuals.
