- Answer Only if you got the eld from AT&T Directly and it works on 4G, otherwise they will cancel the SIM and refuse to refund any balance lost

QuestionI have a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. I'm on At&t's 5g plan. I'm having trouble connecting in 5g, and I realize it's still a relatively new technology. But I'm wondering if I have to purchase a 5g sim card. Difficult finding the answer on At&t website

- Answer TL;DR No, don't worry about the SIM card. The tech hasn't been released yet. Your SIM card won't make a difference what frequency (3G, 4G LTE, or 5G) your phone connects to. That functionality is already on your new phone. The issue lies with 5G coverage right now. 5G is more or less going through a testing/proving phase and isn't widely available. Even where testing IS going on, it may just be commercial. Also the range of the towers is much shorter and there's a lot of misinformation about 5G out there holding up its "release". They expected it to release later this year, but w/ the virus....who knows.

QuestionCan I use this with my existing number but in an HTC 626 phone that I still have? The sim trey is missing in this phone. Does the kit come with a trey? My current iphone 7 is damaged and just need access to a phone until I can get my iphone repaired?

QuestionPrepaid means I have option to recharge the sim, with $50 for example, and after that, if I don't use frequently, I can use it for months. I don't have to recharge every month with a specified minimum amount. Right?

- Answer No, AT&T will de-activate the card and keep any balance if you don't keep topping it up monthly. Even if you do that, they will eventually disconnect the SIM and keep all the balance accumulated arbitrarily
