Ive done that b4, just swap out sims, dont call for assistance cuz then THEY will tell you u need a data pack. But u dont need one.. i dont.. works fine.. and this is my 3rd cell.. went from flip to samsung s6 to note 5.. no data pack since then.. all i did was just swap sims. Good luck..

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The phone is data capable. It even does WiFi. Required to have data? ThT’s actually up to ATT. We have a flip phone for my grandfather but we were unable get him a plan without data and keep everyone else’s smart phone on the same family plan
