A:AnswerThe WiFi should be strong enough, however, you would want to check the AT&T Coverage in your area. Also depending on what you are doing you may need to spend a lot of money on data.
A:AnswerYup. I’ve tried many devices. This is the best in my opinion. It’s pay as u go and is easy to manage! I do $25 a month for 2G. It’s perfect for email for my 99 year old Grandma. The ATT website is easy. I use a OOMA connected to the ATT hotspot. The key is the have a good signal. As funny as it sounds we used tin foil around the unit to boost the signal bc my grandma had limited coverage in her area.., ATT works as advertised. Works great and would buy again!
A:AnswerYou can't hide the hotspot from being detected, but you can block anyone from accessing it, because it shows you a list of everyone that you allowed access and you can simply use the block button, also its password protected.
A:AnswerI added the Velocity HotSpot to my company's AT&T business account which we pay monthly. The fee is about $22 / month.
Depending on how much data you are using, you may be able to set a separate pay as you go plan that is less expensive.
Good luck!
A:Answeryes, but it will eat up all or at least most of the data. I bought 2 GB's and downloaded only one game and had to purchase more data. I mainly used it for e-mails and searching the web. Gaming use a lot of data.
