I wouldn't think so. Since it's made of laminated partical board, it's really only stabilized at the points where its put together (unlike if it were solid wood which would have made it unaffordable).

Please try again later.Hmm... if you are protecting from a very young child, perhaps a board or doweling rod on the track to block the sliding door will serve your purpose. If you are s skilled craftsman you can probably install locks. Imagine your sliding closet doors, only much narrower.
