A: I wouldn't think so. Since it's made of laminated partical board, it's really only stabilized at the points where its put together (unlike if it were solid wood which would have made it unaffordable).
Q: is this good on carpet won't tip over on carpet?
A: The kit includes a brace to fasten to the wall. If the unit remains unattached, it could become top-heavy, and unstable.
A: I work for Best Buy and the best answer I can give you is that as far as I know the service for furniture assembly is 139.99 and generally if you're purchasing these with a TV with some kind of connection service that delivery should be free but if it is just those by themselves and delivery, other stores might have different charges that will apply for delivering just furniture by itself. I believe my store charges $70 for just standard delivery unless there's some sort of service being performed in the home
