Think of your room size and set up, and how much power and volume you really need, usually less than one thinks. If you can get to a store that has speakers set up for listening comparison, that is you best bet. Years ago, in the strictly analog days, when shopping for speakers, I went to a store that allowed me to do an AB comparison of speakers while listening to music. I passed over a famous, expensive, name brand speaker for a lesser known brand, simply because they sounded better to my ear.
