Q: QuestionAudio control class d amps do they do the same function as there lc7i active converter pulling the needed signal from door speakers ? Or does one need to also have the lc7i as Well as their amp?

Q: QuestionSingle sub 4 ohm load , I did run 4 awg . My question / concern is , it seems to be getting warm almost hot , gain is around 60% is this normal for micro amps or is this amp normally run like this

• A:Answer What’s the rating of the subwoofer? If it’s above 175 watts at 4 ohms, that would cause overheating. Normally, these amps run very cool.
